    Cybersecurity is increasingly becoming a prominent concern among healthcare providers in adopting digital technologies. The Regina Elena National Cancer Institute is also in charge of this WP, that will propose guidelines to better address patients’ rights, equality of access, protection of privacy and health data protection.

Guidelines and recommendations on cybersecurity and legal/ethical issues of telemedicine

This document provides guidelines and recommendations on the legal, ethical and cybersecurity framework for telemedicine under the eCAN Joint Action. It addresses the importance of implementing security measures in teleconsultation and clinical data storage platforms, highlighting the assessment of vulnerabilities in software and the protection of sensitive data. It also presents an analysis of the impact of the digital divide on access to telemedicine services and highlights the need for accessible interfaces, cybersecurity training and policies to ensure equitable access.

eCAN App Privacy and Data Protection Policy

This document outlines the privacy policy for the eCAN application and emphasises the commitment for protecting user information. It details the types of data collected, such as personal and usage data, and explains how this information is used to analyse user experience and responses. It also presents the security measures in place to protect user data and informs users of their rights and options to control their data.
