Final clinical Study Analysis
This report assesses the role of telemedicine in cancer care through three pilot studies of tele-rehabilitation and tele-psychological support for cancer patients in the EU. The pilots demonstrated improved patient-reported outcomes such as quality of life, pain and distress when using telehealth interventions. Challenges such as different ethical approvals, technical issues and patient compliance were addressed with mitigation strategies to ensure feasibility and acceptability.
