DESCRIPTION:The European Week Against Cancer (EWAC) is a key international awareness week on the health calendar\, that takes place every year between 25 and 31 May to unite Europe in the fight against cancer. \nEWAC is organised by the Association of Cancer Leagues (ECL)\, in collaboration with its member leagues and partners across Europe. During EWAC\, all public\, private and non-profit organisations in the cancer community are encouraged to organise virtual events\, promote relevant publications and projects\, as well as make use of our communication materials.

DESCRIPTION:The conference entitled ’Kékgolyó Days 2024 – National Training Conference for Professionals in Oncology’ takes place in Eger\, Hungary\, from May 30th to June 1st. The event is organised by the Hungarian National Institute of Oncology and it aims to gather clinicians and institutional representatives from Hungary.  \nTopics addressed will be diverse\, from treatment of urological tumors in the 21st century\, to patient support programme/training or oncology care throug the eyes of the patient. \nBettina Futaki\, physiotherapist from the National Institute of Oncology will hold a presentation about the eCAN project and will talk about the role of telemedicine in physiotherapy and the importance of remote rehabilitation activities and practices in general.
