SUMMARY:European and National Cancer Strategy: The digital leap towards improving oncology care
DESCRIPTION:MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos and the Hellenic Cancer Federation-ELLOK\, in the framework of the All.Can Greece initiative\, will organise a round table discussion entitled: “European and National Cancer Strategy: The digital leap towards improving oncology care”\, on Wednesday\, 1 November 2023\, in Athens. \nThe discussion will focus attention on groundbreaking approaches in oncology care including the progress\, challenges & prospects of oncological care in Greece\, the pivotal role of new digital tools in cancer management as well as the utilization of new healthcare technologies and innovative pharmaceuticals for cancer. Moreover\, the discussion will showcase the creation of a National Cancer Care Plan as a prerequisite for the improvement of cancer care and treatment in Greece. \nDuring the second panel\, Prof. Panos Bamidis\, Director of the AUTH Medical Physics & Digital Innovation Lab\, will present eCAN\, highlighting “New Digital Tools for Cancer Management in Europe and Greece\,” along with other EU-wide best practices in digital cancer care transformation.
