In partnership with the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Health and in collaboration with the FDC, the APDH is organising the webinar “Projetos hospitalares financiados pela UE” (EU-funded hospital projects) on 28 February at 18h.
During this event, the EU4Health programme will be presented. It runs from 2021 to 2027 and provides funding to countries, health organisations, academia, civil society institutions and NGOs in the European Union (EU).
The European Commission launched this funding programme with the aim of promoting a healthier EU, focusing on the following areas Cancer; Crisis Preparedness; Disease Prevention and Health Promotion; Health Systems and Human Resources for (Digital) Health.
At this event, two Portuguese projects that have received funding from the EU will be presented: e-Hospital4Future and eCAN – Strengthening eHealth for cancer patients, with the aim of publicising their journey and the added value they have achieved so far. The organisers hope to show other organisations the potential of this type of initiative to leverage their internal projects for a healthier healthcare system.
The webinar will be held in Portuguese.
