The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), member of WP8, is organising a tailor-made session to provide eCAN participants with essential insights into harnessing the possibilities of teleconsultation, that allows healthcare professionals and patients to communicate and interact in real-time, regardless of their physical locations. Through teleconsultation, patients can seek medical advice, receive diagnoses, and even undergo treatment without the need for in-person visits to healthcare facilities.
The workshop encourages an open dialogue to offer practical tips and tricks to navigate the intricacies of teleconsultation effectively, optimizing user experience and maximizing patient engagement. While teleconsultation is not suitable for all medical conditions and situations, it has emerged as an effective and increasingly popular method of healthcare delivery, particularly in situations where in-person visits are not necessary or feasible.
This event fosters collaboration, networking, and knowledge-sharing within the secor of virtual healthcare, promising to transform the delivery and receipt of healthcare services thanks to telecommunications technologies.
