The Research Ethics and Ethics Committee of the University of Thessaly is organizing a conference in Greek entitled “Current issues of Ethics and Ethics with an emphasis on clinical trials and artificial intelligence” which will take place on Saturday 04 November 2023 at 09:30 am. in the Hippocrates Amphitheater, in the Department of Medicine in Larissa.
The event will host scientists from the field of Ethics and Ethics, under the coordination of faculty members of the University of Thessaly. The aim of the conference is to inform and exchange documented opinions as well as the interaction between scientists on current issues of ethics and ethics in research.
The topics that will be covered during the conference are the following:
- Assessment – Challenges and future proposals of E.H.D.E. of the University of Thessaly.
- Good Research Practices.
- Research ethics.
- Basic principles of conducting clinical research and the role of the EOF.
- Patients’ rights to clinical studies and access to treatments.
- Collections and analyzes of large-scale everyday data: Peculiarities and challenges.
- Big Data and Public Health: Moral and ethical concerns.
- ChatGPT. Ethical dilemmas DEBATE.
- Ethical implications of violations in scientific publications.
- The use of the Turntin plagiarism prevention application at the University of Thessaly.
The conference is addressed to the academic community of the University of Thessaly as well as its students.
