The 34th Medical Informatics Europe Conference (#MIE2024) will be held in Athens, Greece, from the 25th to 29th August 2024. MIE 2024 is co-organized by the European Federation for Medical Informatics Association (EFMI) and the Greek Biomedical and Health Informatics Association.
The theme of the congress is “Digital Health and Informatics Innovations for Sustainable Health Care Systems” and the organisers aim to advance international co-operation and dissemination of information in Medical Informatics on in Europe and to promote research and development in medical informatics. The scientific programme will consist of keynote speeches by distinguished scholars, peer reviewed oral presentations, e-poster presentations, panel discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and tutorials showing the advancement of Biomedical and Health Informatics across the globe.
eCAN member Farmaki Anastasia from CERTH will participate in the Conference to share the results of the focus group discussions conducted in December 2023, focusing on gaining a comprehensive understanding of patients and professionals’ perspectives on eHealth services and the technologies developed by eCAN. The tile of the presentation will be “Exploring user views on telemedicine to support cancer patients: Insights from focus group discussions in the context of the eCAN Joint Action”.
